Youth Pastor

Job Summary

Responsible for providing spiritual guidance, mentorship, pastoral support, and youth-focused activities that promote the spiritual, moral, social, and personal development of students.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual guidance and mentorship to students.
• Organize and facilitate youth fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and other faith-based activities.
• Encourage positive moral and personal development among students.
• Provide pastoral support and appropriate guidance to students facing personal or social challenges.
• Work with school administration and relevant staff to support student welfare.
• Organize youth-focused events, programs, and activities.
• Encourage students to develop positive leadership and community-service values.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Support the school's values and student-development programs.
• Participate in school events and other activities as assigned.

Requirements

• Relevant theological, pastoral, ministry, or religious studies qualification is preferred.
• Demonstrable experience working with young people.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
• Good moral character, integrity, and professionalism.
• Ability to relate positively to students from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience in youth ministry or school-based ministry is an advantage.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: postgraduate degree
