Position: Quality Control Officer
Location: Rabai, Kilifi County

About the Role
Africa PVC Industries Ltd is seeking a Quality Control Officer to strengthen our production standards and compliance. The role demands a technically skilled professional with a hands-on approach in machine operations and a deep understanding of manufacturing regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods against company standards.
- Operate and calibrate testing equipment and production machinery.
- Enforce compliance with ISO standards and Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) requirements.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, reports, and corrective action plans.
- Train production teams on quality procedures and safe operating practices.
- Coordinate with maintenance to address recurring defects.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years' experience in quality control within a manufacturing setup.
- Technical proficiency in operating and troubleshooting industrial machines.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, KEBS regulations, and safety standards.
- High attention to detail with problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
