JOB DETAILS:

Role Summary:
St. Mary's Health Center is seeking a qualified and licensed Medical Laboratory Technician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Ensure quality control and accuracy of test results
• Maintain detailed records of tests and results
• Follow safety protocols and infection control measures
• Collaborate with healthcare team members
• Handle and process laboratory specimens appropriately

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid license to practice as a Medical Laboratory Technician
• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent
• Registration with relevant professional body
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety standards
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Level of Education: associate degree
