JOB DETAILS:
• Our client who is working to support farmers registered with Cooperative societies in Dairy and Tea Value chains seeks to recruit competent Business Development Executives..

Roles/Duties & Responsibilities.
• Collaborate with Dairy and Tea Cooperative societies to identify and engage farmers.
• Organize informational sessions or workshops to educate farmers about the benefits of joining the new farmer platform
• Provide incentives or promotional offers to encourage participation
• Develop targeted marketing campaigns to promote the new farmer platform
• Utilize various channels such as social media, local advertisements, and word-ofmouth referrals to attract farmers.
• Simplify the registration process and provide assistance to farmers who may need help signing up
• Clearly communicate the value proposition of the new farmer platform, highlighting benefits such as access to market information, training resources, and financial services.
• Offer personalized assistance to farmers in understanding and selecting relevant valueadded services or features
• Establish partnerships with input suppliers and device collection stores to ensure availability of essential agricultural inputs and equipment.
• Distribute promotional materials in target areas frequented by farmers, such as agricultural markets, cooperatives, and community centers
• Regularly engage with farmers through phone calls, SMS, or in-person meetings to maintain relationships and address any concerns
• Monitor farmers' repayment schedules and outstanding balances through the provided platform or related financial management tools.

Skills & Qualifications.
• A minimum of 2 years working experience- experience in Cooperative Societies will be an added advantage.
• Diploma or Degree in Agri-Business or any other Business related course.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Profound negotiation and presentation skills
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
• Proper presentation and planning skills.
• Project management and organizational skills
• Conducting periodic market research and analysis
