Role summary
Population Services Kenya in collaboration with other partners implements Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent health (RMNCAH), HIV, Malaria and TB programs whose goal is to reduce morbidity and mortality and improve the health of Kenyans. The incumbent will work directly under the supervision of the Senior Manager Programs to implement A360 demand and service delivery country work plan and work closely with the national level division of reproductive health, Division of Adolescent and School Health among others to ensure effective and efficient delivery of adolescent reproductive health services in target counties. In addition, they will implement evidence based and impact centered behavior change communication, identify new and emerging needs and continuously innovate on how best to reach them with sexual and reproductive health and life skills. They will also establish and maintain stakeholder partnerships in the national and county governments and ensure that program knowledge is generated, collected, updated and disseminated appropriately.

Key activities
• Develop and ensure implementation of strategies in accordance with the established program policies, guidelines and procedures.
• Supervise, mentor, and give technical guidance to the field Coordinators to improve their supervision activities in the assigned counties.
• Ensure technical capacity of providers is up to date by planning and implementing relevant trainings, refreshers and CMEs in collaboration with the field coordinators.
• Analyze and track MIS reports at regional and national level to ensure optimal performance in assigned health area.
• Make regular visits to clinics to assess and verify existing beneficiary caseloads, project needs, problems, delivery and utilization of project inputs and support to project beneficiaries and advise accordingly.
• Develop/Improve monitoring and evaluation tools in conjunction with the M&E team with an aim to continuously check and report on the progress and quality of completed and on-going activities.
• Prepare and submit periodical reports as required capturing best practices and lessons learned.
• Support in the design of an effective and compelling adolescent campaigns and tactful messaging for theaudience segment for uptake of ASRH services.
• Grow the adolescent campaign project through strategic multi-sectoral partnerships for long term sustainability and transition to Counties.
• Use of research to continually and in a timely manner develop and improve demand and service delivery to theaudience segments.
• Work closely with the Adolescents sexual and reproductive health unit and maternal health persons from the
Ministry of health to ensure that A360 work is feeding into the overall goals at national and county level.
• Effective planning and management of the A360 budget.

Person specifications
Academic Qualifications

• Either degree in nursing, Higher Diploma in Clinical medicine or degree in public health.
• Experience in behavior change programs or Marketing and communications will be an added advantage.
Experience
• Health professional preferably with at least 4 years’ experience in Adolescent Reproductive Health and/or  Public Health with training.

Academic Qualifications
