Detailed Description
This is the entry and training grade for Degree holders in this cadre. Duties and responsibilities in this position shall entail assisting in:
- Ensuring land rates and rents are paid on time,
- Attending to tenants complaints at the Authority’s residential Estate and carry out regular inspection of the structures to check for any leakage, seepage and cracks,
- Maintaining and updating the inventory of tenancy agreements for CA Residential properties,
- Updating the log of repairs and schedule of maintenance of all assets in liaison with other departments,
- Preparation and maintenance of the assets register,
- Maintaing and update of furniture and office equipment inventory,
- Updating and monitoring the validity of maintenance contracts for service providers,
- Drafting bills of quantities for repair works,
- Regular inspection of all storage tanks piping and drainage to ensure they are in good condition,
- Assist in preparation of requisitions,
- Assist in allocation of office space and ensure that Office furniture and equipment are arranged and maintained,
- Assist in Preparation of reports on defective components including wear and tear, leakages, seepage, cracks among others.
Job Requirements
For appointment to this grade a candidate must have:
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in built environment, i.e. Architecture, Construction Management, Quantity survey, Real estate, Land economics, Facilities Management courses or Equivalent Qualification from a recognized institution,
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
