Accounting Functions (60%)

  • Petty Cash Management
  • Reconcile B2C and C2B M-Pesa transactions daily; resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
  • Support loan disbursements via M-Pesa; verify documentation completeness
  • Record daily collections from credit officers; update core banking system
  • Prepare daily position reports, weekly portfolio reports, and monthly CBK returns

Receptionist Functions (40%)

  • Greet all visitors; explain Tundar products; direct to appropriate officer
  • Manage credit officer diaries; coordinate cooperative meetings
  • Answer branch line; handle inquiries; escalate complaints
  • Receive and file loan applications; maintain customer records
  • Ensure clean, professional reception area; display marketing materials

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Diploma in Accounting, Business, or Secretarial Studies; CPA Part I or ongoing
  • Experience: 1–2 years in accounting, reception, or customer service; microfinance/SACCO exposure preferred
  • Systems: Proficient in Excel; quick learner for core banking systems
  • Skills: Numerical accuracy + interpersonal warmth; multitasking under pressure
