Job Responsibilities / Core Functions

Relationship Management & Client Service

  • Act as the primary link between existing institutional clients and the Bank for portfolio administration.
  • Provide excellent, timely, and professional service to clients.
  • Provide prompt feedback from clients to the Bank for immediate action.
  • Avoid any cases of mis-selling or misrepresentation.

Market Awareness & Business Development

  • Participate in market awareness programs for the Bank, including:
    • Market activations
    • Sales promotions
    • Product launches

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance matters in respect to Institutional Banking are addressed effectively and expeditiously.
  • Ensure full compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer) policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with the Bank’s code of Ethics.
  • Ensure compliance with internal regulatory requirements, particularly regarding asset facilities processing.

Other Duties

  • Safeguard and promote the bank’s image both internally and externally.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Education: A University Degree from a recognized institution with a bias in business studies or Marketing.
    • General Experience: Must have at least five (5) years of banking experience.
    • Specific Experience: Must have at least one (1) year of experience in relationship management or customer experience.
    • Preferred Experience: Cross-cutting experience in customer service, business, and operations will be an added advantage.
    • Product Knowledge: Must possess sound knowledge of Bank products.
    • Personal Attributes:
      • Must have good interpersonal skills and portray teamwork capacity.
      • Must be self-driven and very aggressive.
      • Must be confident, eloquent, and presentable.
      • Must have excellent presentation and negotiation skills.

    Functional Competencies Required for this Role

    • Sales Skills: Must possess excellent selling skills with a proven track record.
    • Emotional Intelligence: Must be a dynamic individual with the ability to work under pressure.
    • Networking: Must have strong networking skills, for both internal and external networks.
    • Relationship Management: Must have relationship management skills with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
