JOB DETAILS:
Background
The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) was established by the Government of Kenya on the 14th of January 2013 under an Act of Parliament-Act No.4 of 2013, to provide research based curricula and curriculum support materials responsive to the needs of the society.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinating, organizing and prioritizing office activities and operations to enhance efficiency and compliance;
Set up and dismantle studio and control room equipment;
Operate basic audio and visual recording equipment during live or pre-recorded sessions;
Handle cables, lighting, microphones, and signal routing under guidance;
Log broadcast sessions and maintain studio logs;
Perform basic cleaning and equipment maintenance routines;
Label and archive recordings and digital content;
Report faults and escalating technical issues.
Requirement for Appointment
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C (Plain) or its equivalent qualification;
Diploma in Audio-Visual Technology, Studio Operations, Broadcast Engineering, or related field from a recognized institution;
Proficiency in computer applications.

Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: associate degree
