JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Associate advocate to join our team.
The ideal candidate should be diligent, proactive, and possess strong legal research and drafting skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, contracts, and legal opinions
- Provide legal advice and strategies to clients
- Conduct legal research and prepare case files
- Liaise with clients, courts, government bodies, and other stakeholders
Qualifications:
- An LLB degree from a recognized university
- Admission to the Roll of Advocates of the High Court of Kenya
- A valid practicing certificate
- Minimum 3 years post-admission experience in active legal practice
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Hours: 8
