Responsibilities or duties
Nawiri Child Development Programme (NCDP) is inviting applications from enthusiastic and committed students seeking industrial attachment opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in community development and contribute to programmes that improve the well-being of children, families, and communities.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Applications are invited from students pursuing Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree programmes at universities, TVET institutions, national polytechnics, technical training institutes (TTIs), vocational training centres, and other accredited colleges.
Applicants should be pursuing any of the following or related programmes:
- Community Development
- Development Studies
- Sociology
- Social Work and Community Development
- Project Planning and Management
- Child Development and Family Studies
- Any other relevant social science or development-related course.
Applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled in a recognized university, TVET institution, national polytechnic, technical training institute, vocational training centre, or accredited college.
- Possess a valid introduction/attachment letter from their institution.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be willing to work in diverse community settings, including remote areas.
- Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and a passion for community service.
