Role Context

The successful candidate will oversee and manage client audits, lead and coach audit teams, ensure compliance with professional and ethical standards, handle tax matters, and deliver accurate financial reporting under tight deadlines. The role requires flexibility and willingness to travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries and backgrounds.
  • Lead, coach, and supervise audit teams, ensuring audit work covers all material and high-risk areas without compromising quality.
  • Conduct client exit meetings, finalize financial statements, and submit tax returns on time.
  • Handle client tax matters and liaise with the Kenya Revenue Authority.
  • Maintain professional, ethical, and independent standards in all client engagements.
  • Deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines and under pressure.

Key Qualifications

  • Must have a relevant bachelor’s in Finance or any other related field with CPAK qualification.
  • Proficient in using financial software and tools.
  • Hands on with integrity and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to multi task and work under pressure.
