Job Summary

The Baler Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining baling equipment used to compress recyclable materials for storage, transportation, and recycling. The role ensures equipment operates safely and efficiently while maintaining production targets and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate baling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Compress recyclable materials for storage and transportation.
• Inspect equipment before and after operation.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of balers.
• Report equipment faults and maintenance requirements.
• Monitor production output and quality.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate operational records.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Operations, or a related field is an added advantage.
• Experience operating baling or industrial machinery is preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment safety procedures.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
