Job Purpose

Responsible for managing and supervising the bar soap production line to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing in compliance with GMP, safety, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the bar soap production line (mixing, milling, plodding, cutting, stamping, and packing).
  • Ensure production targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and timeline.
  • Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to approved formulations and SOPs.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure proper machine operation and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure GMP, safety, and hygiene rules are strictly followed on the line.
  • Conduct line clearance, start-up, and changeover activities.
  • Identify process deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate line operators and technicians.
  • Ensure proper documentation (batch records, logbooks, deviation reports).
  • Coordinate with QC for in-process checks and final product release.
  • Control material usage and minimize waste and rework.
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Any Bachelor's degree or Diploma
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in bar soap manufacturing or FMCG production.
  • Strong knowledge of bar soap processes and machinery.
  • Good leadership and problem-solving skills.
