Background

Branch Manager – CBD (Hybrid) – Nairobi, Kenya

Responsibilities

• Manage relations with General and Medical business channels to deliver targeted premium outputs.
• Implement market expansion strategies at the branch.
• Handle pipeline business management, quotations, and SLA agreements with intermediaries.
• Monitor service level standards and ensure smooth branch operations.
• Follow up on renewals to achieve retention ratios.
• Champion cross‑selling and coordinate intermediaries’ activities.
• Collect and assess market intelligence to identify opportunities.
• Manage debt and control expenditure for travel, events, and promotions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for brokers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Commerce, Insurance, Law, or Business Administration.
• At least 7 years’ experience in Insurance Sales or Underwriting.
• Professional qualifications:
  • ACII, Diploma in Insurance (UK), or
  • AIIK, Diploma in Insurance (Kenya).
• Higher Diplomas in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies (required).
