Job Summary:

  • To ensure the efficient and effective management of sales, distribution, finance, human resources, administration, warehouse, health and safety and compliance activities at the branch level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the annual branch business plan.
  • Ensure daily, weekly & monthly branch targets are achieved.
  • Confirmation of stocks as per route(s) requirement and DR(s) requisition
  • Ensure full and adequate portfolio loading for all DRs
  • Reconciliation of stock issued to DRs with their respective values both physical and on RCS8.
  • Maintain branch shortages at 0%.
  • Update finance template on, sales (invoices) and expected banking (receipts) and petty cash by close of day on share point.
  • Ensure cashless revenue collection at 100%.
  • Custodian of the stocks at branch level.
  • Management of inventory received in the warehouse while ensuring zero stock losses.
  • Ensure the branch has adequate stock at all times to meet market demand.
  • Conduct daily physical stock take.
  • Prepare daily stock reconciliation and variance reports and upload on the report’s repository.
  • Ensure compliance for all motor vehicles and motorcycles assigned to the branch (Motor vehicle inspection, insurance, distribution licenses, driver’s license)
  • Ensure all motor vehicles and motorcycles at the branch are serviced as scheduled by the approved service providers.
  • Ensure timely reporting of any asset breakages, damages.
  • Ensure adherence to the leave policy at the branch.
  • Maintain Health and Safety, ensuring that all the staff have the right tools and PPEs.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide continuous coaching to address employee’s performance gaps.

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree or diploma in Sales and Marketing or its equivalent
  • KCSE mean grade of C + with a C (plain) in mathematics.
  • Minimum of 3 years ‘sales experience in FMCG industry with 1 year in supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent communication, analytical and negotiation skills
  • High level of honesty, integrity, agility, and attention to detail
  • High level of accountability, organization & teamwork skills
  • Must have a valid driving license-both motorcycle class A1 and motor vehicle class C1, B(Manual)
