Job Purpose

Business Developer is responsible for driving revenue growth and ensuring the efficient operations of the company, with a strong focus on profitability. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies to generate high revenue, while aligning business activities with overall company objectives. He/she will oversee daily operations, full compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards to ensure productivity and excellence in customer service for business success and will be in charge of all the employees

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Generation & Sales Growth

  • Develop and implement full sales cycle strategies to increase revenue.
  • Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Maintain visibility and control over the entire sales pipeline.
  • Analyse sales reports to identify top-selling products and trends.
  • With the help of the marketing executive, plan and execute promotions, discounts, and in-store events to drive customer engagement.
  • Lead negotiations and close sales.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct market analysis to guide pricing, demand positioning, and expansion.
  • Support and direct sales team to improve conversion rates and deal closure
  • Ensure all client transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Oversee preparation and execution of sale agreements and transfer documents.
  • Coordinate client communication throughout the purchase journey.
  • Ensure timely issuance of titles to clients.
  • Handle escalations, resolve client issues, and maintain high satisfaction levels.

Customer Service & Experience Management

  • Ensure staff provide excellent customer service by being knowledgeable about products.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
  • Build customer loyalty through engagement, recommendations, and promotional incentives
  • Build strategic partnerships with investors, and agents.

Stakeholder & Employee Management

  • Be a strategic partner to the business owner, and align with their vision and financial goals
  • Supervise and support employees across the organization.
  • Create work schedules and assign duties to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Motivate staff to meet sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Handle performance evaluations, conflict resolution, and staff development.

Compliance & Legal Regulations

  • Take full responsibility for the execution of land projects from acquisition to final title transfer.
  • Work directly with legal teams, surveyors, and authorities to ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant.
  • Track and actively manage project timelines, ensuring milestones (subdivision, approvals, titling, transfers) are met on schedule.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and resolve issues that may delay sales or transfers.
  • Oversee proper documentation, filling and transaction records are maintained
  • Act as the central coordination point across all parties involved in land transactions.
  • Manage relationships with external partners including lawyers, surveyors, land agents, and government offices.
  • Ensure strict adherence and compliance to existing laws within the Real Estate Industry
  • Oversee and ensure all required licenses are acquired and renewed.
  • Stay updated on changing laws and industry regulations to avoid fines or legal issues

Marketing

  • Align marketing efforts with sales through social media, in-store promotions, and partnerships.

Sales Performance Reporting

  • Track sales performance periodically ensures high returns and profit margins.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports for the management team.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to drive business growth.

N/B: In addition to the above, the Business Developer may be given such other duties as the Management may deem necessary

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/ Related Field
  • At least 5 plus years of experience in a similar role in a Real Estate Company
  • Should have Knowledge of local land laws and regulatory systems
  • Must be Hands-on, execution-focused mindset
  • Must have the ability to balance sales aggression with operational discipline
  • Proficient in MS Office & Excel & CRM
  • Strong driving revenue growth consistently
  • Excellent execution and project management skills
  • Deep understanding of land acquisition, titling, and transfer processes
  • High attention to detail in documentation and compliance
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deals and timelines simultaneously.
