Background

PACIS Insurance Company Limited was incorporated in Kenya in October 2004 and licensed to do business in August 2005 It is an initiative of the Catholic Church with a vision to be the icon of reliability and trustworthiness.

Responsibilities

The Business Development Executive (Agents) will drive growth of the insurance portfolio by acquiring new business and sustaining strong relationships with independent agents. The role will also focus on reactivating dormant agents while onboarding and supporting new entrants to ensure their successful integration into the company’s distribution network

Qualifications and Experience

Academic Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Marketing, Finance, or related field.

Professional Qualifications:

Diploma in Insurance/Marketing (AIIK, CII/ACII) or progress towards the same.

Experience:

Minimum 3–4 years in insurance sales/business development with exposure to agent networks.

Knowledge:

Broad understanding of insurance products and financial/investment markets.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Analytical thinking & data-driven decision making
  • Strategic perspective with adaptability
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Creative problem-solving & interpersonal skills
  • Team player with motivational communication ability
  • Basic financial literacy (awareness of IFRS 9 & 17)
  • Drive growth of the insurance portfolio by acquiring new business.
