  • The Export Executive will support export operations, international sales activities, and logistics coordination. The role involves preparing export documentation, liaising with freight and customs partners, ensuring compliance with export regulations, and providing excellent customer support to international clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and managing export sales and client relations
  • Prepare export documentation: invoices, packing lists, customs entries, and shipping instructions
  • Assist in offloading shipment logistics
  • Coordinate shipment logistics with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clearing agents
  • Track shipments and ensure timely delivery while resolving logistics issues where necessary
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and statutory export requirements
  • Maintain export records and prepare regular reports
  • Conduct basic market research and identify potential export customers

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, Clearing & Forwarding, or related field
  • ICMS (Integrated Customs Management System) training is an added advantage
  • 6 months to 1-year experience in export operations, logistics, customs, or clearing & forwarding
  • Internship or attachment experience in a similar field will be considered
  • Identify and research new business opportunities and potential clients
  • Generate and qualify leads through cold calls, networking, referrals, and digital channels
  • Conduct client meetings, product/service presentations, and sales pitches
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales agreements
  • Manage end-to-end sales process including negotiation and closure
  • Maintain a structured and updated sales pipeline and reporting system
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify trends and business insights
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and networking functions when required
 
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Client Acquisition, or a similar commercial role preferably international trade industry
