Position Overview
Our client is seeking to recruit a proactive and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to identify new business opportunities, generate qualified leads, and build a strong pipeline of potential customers. The successful candidate will focus on prospecting, outbound outreach, lead qualification, discovery conversations, appointment setting, CRM management, and pipeline development. The ideal candidate should be confident, persuasive, highly organized, and capable of engaging prospects, understanding their needs, and creating valuable opportunities for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential customers and target accounts.
- Prospect for new business opportunities through phone calls, email, social media, and other channels.
- Conduct outbound outreach to prospective customers and generate qualified leads.
- Qualify prospects based on their needs, business requirements, and potential fit.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer challenges and identify opportunities.
- Schedule meetings, demonstrations, and sales calls for qualified prospects.
- Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Follow up with prospects throughout the qualification process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect information in the CRM system.
- Track outreach activities, meetings, lead progression, and conversion rates.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Sales, Marketing, and other internal teams.
- Provide feedback on prospect responses, market trends, and customer needs.
- Meet or exceed lead generation, meeting, and pipeline targets.
- Continuously improve prospecting strategies and outreach approaches.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in business development, sales development, lead generation, inside sales, or a similar role.
- Experience with outbound prospecting and lead qualification.
- Experience using CRM systems and managing prospect information.
- Demonstrated ability to meet activity, meeting, or lead-generation targets.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote and fast-paced environment.
- Reliable internet connection and suitable setup for remote work.
- Professional, proactive, and results-driven attitude.
- English proficiency where working with English-speaking prospects or clients is required.
