Background
The Business Development and Partnerships Executive will lead business acquisition for the company for both long-term and short-term contracts for business growth and sustainability.
Responsibilities
The job holder will be responsible for all sales activities including scouting potential clients, preparing proposals, preparing budgets for pricing, creating relevant pitch decks or improving existing ones in relation to client enquiries.
Customer Acquisition (60%)
The Business Development and Partnerships Executive will drive new customer acquisition and own the process from prospecting to conversion.
- Scope customer enquiries/leads to understand their need and offer solutions from the company’s value offering.
- Prepare and make pitch presentations to potential clients.
- Own the sales cycle process with constant and continuous communication to the clients.
- Creating positive and long-term relationships with existing for future business opportunities.
- Cross sell and up sell services and products to ensure maximum utilization of sale opportunity.
- Run outbound sales activities through email and calls for promotions to generate sales.
- Update the client acquisition and conversion dashboard as soon as there is activity
- Attend virtual and in person client meetings within the sales cycle.
- Strategically plan a fusion of projects vs short term mix and quick revenue earners vs long term business mix.
Partner Sourced Revenue Growth (25%)
- Identify, acquire, and onboard high-value partners aligned to revenue targets.
- Build and manage a strong partnership pipeline with defined conversion targets.
- Lead commercial negotiation and structuring of partnership agreements.
- Track partner revenue performance, identify gaps, and implement actions to optimize ROI.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing partnerships.
Marketing (10%)
- Scout and target business expos with the right product exhibited in the relevant expo with conversion of customer acquisition.
- Scout for events to attend as a delegate to network and acquire customers.
Market Intelligence (5%)
- Research and report on competitor pricing.
- Research on all facets i.e People, Culture and Change, Employee Wellness and Assistance programs and Research and Insights.
- Ensure the company’s product offering to remain competitive.
