Carbon Project Development Associate

Green Voyage is a climate-tech company focused on bridging the gap to carbon neutrality by developing high-integrity carbon offset projects and connecting them to global markets. We are seeking a technically skilled Carbon Project Development Associate to support the end-to-end development of carbon offset projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Identification & Feasibility
  • Environmental & Regulatory Compliance (NEMA Focus)
  • Carbon Project Design & Documentation
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Project Implementation & Monitoring
  • Market & Technical Support

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in, Environmental Science, Forestry / Natural Resource Management, Climate Change / Environmental Engineering
  • NEMA Lead Expert Certification
  • 2-5 years of experience in Carbon project development, Environmental impact assessments (EIA/ESIA), Climate/environmental consulting
  • Experience with carbon standards such as: Verra (VCS), Gold Standard, Plan Vivo Puro.earth is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of: MRV systems, GIS tools (QGIS/ArcGIS) and Data analysis and reporting is an advantage
