Responsibilities or duties
- Open claims with insurance companies, health insurance subrogation departments, and Medical/CARE.
- Request and follow up on police reports and medical records.
- Schedule medical appointments and coordinate transportation for clients.
- Verify balances with medical providers.
- Prepare case files for submission to demand writers.
Qualifications or requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience as a Case Manager, Case Manager Assistant, or Legal Assistant within Personal Injury (PI). (Please avoid Intake Specialist backgrounds.)
- Advanced English level (B2+, C1), accent-free.
- Bachelor’s degree completed or currently in progress (preferably in the legal or medical industry).
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of personal injury pre-litigation cases.
- Experience with Litify or Salesforce is a strong plus.
- Typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
