Job Description
The School Chef is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the school kitchen. This includes menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring that all students and staff receive nutritious, balanced meals in a safe and clean environment. The Chef will play a key role in fostering a healthy eating culture within our school community.
Required Skills/Characteristics
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-volume catering (schools, hospitals, or hotels preferred).
Nutrition Knowledge: Solid understanding of child/adolescent nutritional needs and portion control.
Punctuality: Ability to manage a strict schedule so that meals are served precisely on time.
Cleanliness: An obsession with kitchen hygiene and personal grooming.
A practising Catholic with a strong understanding of Catholic traditions.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
