Background

CHIEF ACCOUNTANT WILL OVERSEE AND MANAGE ALL FINANCIAL OPERATIONS OF OUR RECYCLING AND MANUFACTURING COMPANY. HE/SHE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BUDGETING, FINANCIAL REPORTING, COMPLIANCE, AND SUPPORTING STRATEGIC FINANCIAL PLANNING BY PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:-

Responsibilities

OVERSEE DAILY ACCOUNTING OPERATIONS AND ENSURE ACCURACY IN FINANCIAL RECORDS. PREPARE TIMELY AND ACCURATE FINANCIAL REPORTS, BUDGETS, FORECASTS, AND CASH FLOW STATEMENTS. ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH TAX LAWS, STATUTORY REGULATIONS, AND FINANCIAL REPORTING STANDARDS. COORDINATE INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL AUDITS. MONITOR AND MANAGE COST CONTROL, INVENTORY ACCOUNTING, AND FINANCIAL ANALYSIS. SUPPORT STRATEGIC DECISION-MAKING THROUGH FINANCIAL INSIGHTS AND REPORTING. LEAD AND MENTOR THE FINANCE TEAM. IMPLEMENT AND IMPROVE ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS AND CONTROLS (EXPERIENCE WITH SAGE ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE IS A PLUS).

Qualifications

BACHELORS DEGREE IN ACCOUNTING, FINANCE, OR A RELATED FIELD. CPA KENYA CERTIFICATION. STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF FINANCIAL REGULATIONS AND TAX LAWS IN KENYA. PROFICIENCY IN SAGE ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE IS AN ADDED ADVANTAGE. EXCELLENT ANALYTICAL, LEADERSHIP, AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

Experience

MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR POSITION WITHIN THE RECYCLING, MANUFACTURING, OR RELATED INDUSTRY.
