Chogoria hospital was started by the Scottish missionaries back in 1922 with the help of Mr and Mrs. Irvine being in charge. Chogoria hospital is on a side-road which branches off Embu - Meru highway about 2km from the highway. Chogoria hospital was built in a serene environment around 200km north of Nairobi city. It is situated within the fast growing Chogoria township in Mwimbi division, Maara district in Tharaka - Nithi county.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- A Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA), Healthcare Management, Health Administration (MHA), Healthcare Innovation (MHI), or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Relevant professional certification and registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Strategic foresight and strong governance capability.
- Financial stewardship and operational excellence.
- Strong people leadership and talent development capabilities.
- Data-driven decision-making, digital literacy, and an innovation mindset.
- Advanced communication, stakeholder engagement, and crisis leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to define and execute an enterprise-wide AI strategy
- Born again and committed Christian with evidence of maturity in faith.
Experience needed
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years management experience, with at least ten (10) years in senior leadership within a hospital setting.
- Prior experience in a mission hospital is highly desirable.
