As part of this growth, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Chief Security Officer to join our team on a full-time basis.
About the Role
The Chief Security Officer holds the primary executive responsibility for all security functions within Zuri Health. The Chief Security Officer reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is empowered to design, implement and enforce the security framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Zuri’s overall security strategy and policies
- Lead physical security and information protection programs
- Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across the organization
- Oversee incident response, investigations, and crisis management activities
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry security standards
- Protect the physical safety and wellbeing of all staff, executives and visitors
- Control and monitor access to Zuri Health premises
- Safeguard Zuri Health assets, equipment and intellectual property
- Establish clear protocols for medical and wellness outreach events
- Ensure robust home-based security support for staff welfare
- Provide elevated protection for the Chief Executive Officer
- Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and security testing
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in security management and leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of risk management, and compliance standards
- Experience managing enterprise security operations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to respond effectively during crisis and security incidents
