Background
The British Army Training Unit Kenya (BATUK) is seeking to recruit Cleaners to join their team at Nyati Barracks, Nanyuki.
Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within the barracks. Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and sanitizing offices, accommodation blocks, and common areas.
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Cleaning windows, doors, and other surfaces.
- Emptying and cleaning waste bins.
- Replenishing cleaning supplies.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damages.
Qualifications and Requirements
The ideal candidates should possess the following:
- Previous experience in cleaning is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties.
- Understanding of health and safety procedures in a cleaning environment.
Additional Information
This is a full-time position. Successful applicants will be expected to adhere to the standards and regulations of the British Army Training Unit Kenya.
