Background

The British Army Training Unit Kenya (BATUK) is seeking to recruit Cleaners to join their team at Nyati Barracks, Nanyuki.

Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within the barracks. Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and sanitizing offices, accommodation blocks, and common areas.
• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Cleaning windows, doors, and other surfaces.
• Emptying and cleaning waste bins.
• Replenishing cleaning supplies.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or damages.

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidates should possess the following:

• Previous experience in cleaning is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
• Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures in a cleaning environment.

Additional Information
