JOB DETAILS:

Duties and Responsibilities
• Advising and recommending to clients, the range of insurance covers available and suggesting the suitable insurance policies
• Corresponding with insurance companies and issuing the necessary documentation, including closing instructions and premium computation
• Vetting medical claims and ensure that they meet the set objectives and standards
• Reviewing policy portfolios of clients and ensuring that the appropriate renewal notices are issued in good time
• Achieve set business targets by providing excellent customer service in relation to tasks involving policy membership, premium charges and endorsements over a period of time

Nature and Scope
• Internal Contacts: Departmental heads and members of staff.
• External Contacts: Business partners, service providers and clients

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• A Bachelor Degree in Business, nursing, clinical medicine and medical studies from a reputable university
• Attain minimum COP
• To be aware of medical treatment protocols and good cost-effective habits in relations to market segmentation
• At least two (2) years’ experience in an insurance company or hospital facility as a care manager

Skills and Attributes
• Good networking and interpersonal skills
• Good customer relationship management skills (internal and external customers).
• Good communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated but able to work as part of a team.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Positive attitude self-motivated, self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Good negotiation skills and persuasiveness. Confidence presenting to large groups of people.
• Trustworthiness and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and performance oriented
