About NHC Maisha(Ndonyo Healthcare)

NHC Maisha(Ndonyo Healthcare) began in the year 1998, by then it was operating as Dr. Odhiambo clinic and Ndonyo Chemist with only two staff at Kangiri House. In 2003, NHC Maisha was born, under the brand name of Ndonyo Healthcare. The organization was offering the following services including; . General consultation, Pharmacy and Laboratory

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Attend to patients and prescribe necessary medicines as available in stock and the required investigations.
  • Whenever necessary, with the approval of Head of Medical Services, carry out investigations and prescribe non-stock drugs.
  • Issue Medical Certificate for sickness or fitness to join duty as per prescribed procedure.
  • Assist Head of Medical Services whenever called upon to do so for any patient or hospital related work.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and clients.
  • Ensure that duties and functions are undertaken in a manner that prioritizes the safety and well-being of patients.
  • Seek advice and assistance from the consultants with any assigned cases or issues that prove to be beyond the scope and professional competence in line with principles of best practice and clinical governance.
  • Any other clinical duty delegated by the management.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Medicine and surgery
  • Registered by clinical officers’ council.
  • Ability to with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to plan and deliver care in an effective and resourceful manner.
  • Valid licence
