JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
To manage the end-to-end process of clinical supplies, ensuring efficient inventory control, timely distribution, and optimal availability of medical resources to support quality healthcare services for children.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete supply chain management of clinical materials and equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and implement stock control systems
- Coordinate with clinical departments to assess supply needs and ensure adequate stock levels
- Manage procurement processes, including sourcing, ordering, and receiving clinical supplies
- Implement quality assurance measures for all clinical materials
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Monitor supply usage patterns and optimize inventory turnover
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards for medical supplies
- Supervise storage conditions and maintain proper documentation
- Generate regular reports on supply chain performance and inventory status
Qualifications and Competencies
- Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented approach
- Proactive problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment
- Excellent inventory management capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
