Key Responsibilities
Data Analytics & Business Insights
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from internal and external sources
- Translate complex datasets into actionable insights to support business decisions
- Identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities across territories and product portfolios
- Generate account-level insights to improve sales planning and profitability
Sales Performance & Reporting
- Track and analyze sales performance (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually)
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Monitor KPIs and provide variance analysis
- Support root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE)
- Drive adoption and optimization of CRM and sales force automation tools
- Support implementation of standardized sales processes and sales cadence
- Improve sales productivity through performance tracking and insights
- Ensure alignment across sales, marketing, and product teams
Planning & Commercial Support
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking at territory and regional levels
- Provide data-driven recommendations for strategic and operational planning
- Work closely with business leaders to guide decision-making
Training & Capability Development
- Identify skill gaps and support development of sales training programs
- Facilitate product and sales skills training
- Support onboarding and continuous learning of commercial teams
- Ensure field team competence through assessments and training tools
Process Improvement & Governance
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with data protection standards
- Maintain documentation of data sources, definitions, and processes
- Continuously improve reporting systems, tools, and workflows
- Monitor market dynamics and provide insights on competition and opportunities
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is an added advantage
- 3–5 years’ experience in data analytics, commercial excellence, sales operations, or business intelligence
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, FMCG, or Consumer Goods sectors is preferred
- Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
