Background

BUNGOMA CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL INVITES APPLICATIONS for the following positions. We seek qualified, dedicated professionals to join our team in delivering exceptional pediatric care.

Responsibilities

  • Provides specialist-level care and clinical leadership for inpatient and outpatient pediatric services.
  • Diagnosis and Treatment: Conduct thorough examinations of newborns, infants, children, and adolescents to diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
  • Protocol Development: Develop and implement clinical protocols for neonatal care, outpatient services, and emergency pediatric care to standardize high-quality treatment.
  • Clinical Leadership: Lead and mentor Medical Officers and other clinical staff through on-the-job training, continuous medical education sessions, and curriculum development.
  • Emergency and Inpatient Care: Coordinate and manage emergency patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings, stabilizing critical conditions and making timely referral decisions.
  • Patient and Family Education: Advise parents and guardians on child nutrition, disease prevention, exercise, and home care practices, providing holistic family-centered support.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and updated patient records, including medical histories, prescribed medications, and treatment outcomes.
