Responsibilities or duties
Provide safe, timely, and high-quality radiology services for both inpatients and outpatients, including accurate reporting and clear communication of findings. Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient care, and actively contribute to the hospital’s teaching and continuous professional development (CPD) programmes.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
M. Med in Radiology and Imaging from a university recognized by CUE.
Licensed, Registered and Retained by the Kenya Medical Practitioners’ and Dentists’ Board.
Team player
Excellent communication and people skills
Basic Life Support Certification
Attention to detail and accuracy
Patient-centred and service-oriented
Experience needed
A working experience in a busy radiology and imaging department general radiography, Ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, Doppler and Fluoroscopy.
Experience and skills in reporting MRI and various modalities of CT across a wide range of clinical indications.

Interpret and report imaging studies (X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, Doppler, fluoroscopy) and communicate key findings to clinical teams.
Develop, review, and implement imaging protocols and clinical pathways.
Support departmental quality and patient safety activities (audits/peer review, incident reporting, improvement projects).
Teach and supervise interns and junior doctors.
Perform interventional radiology procedures (as credentialed) and ensure appropriate documentation and follow-up.
