Responsibilities or duties
The Controller Stock is responsible for controlling all movement of stock through the Warehouse.
Qualifications or requirements
Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent
Experience needed
Minimum of 3 years in inventory or stock control, preferably in a production or bottling environment.
Working knowledge of ERP systems. Understanding of inventory management principles and best practices. Familiarity with production processes and material requirements. Experience in implementing and maintaining loss prevention measures. Experience in preparing and presenting inventory reports.
- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials and finished products.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Record all stock movements, including receipts, dispatches, and transfers.
- Ensure accurate documentation of stock transactions in the inventory management system.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust stock levels accordingly.
- Identify and report discrepancies or potential issues in stock levels.
- Implement measures to prevent stock loss and damage.
- Prepare and submit regular inventory reports to management.
- Provide insights on stock trends and potential shortages or surpluses.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in monitoring and recording stock movements. Ability to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Effective time management skills.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze stock data and identify trends. Proficiency in generating insights from inventory reports.
- Communication: Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with production and management teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management software and systems. Proficiency in using MS Office, particularly Excel.
