Background

The Elgeyo Marakwet County Public Service Board recruits on merit, in an open and accountable process that reflects the face of the county.

Responsibilities

Promotion of sustainable Cooperative Societies in the county; Enforcing Compliance with Cooperative legislation; Advice Cooperative societies in marketing, credit, Cooperative financing and Governance; Assist to carry out training in co-operative societies; Collection of data on potential areas for analysis; Disseminate/ provide information to Co-operative Societies; Provide management support to the Co-operative Office for efficient functioning of the sector.

Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST have: -

• Degree in Cooperative Management, Business Administration, Sociology, Law, Commerce, Entrepreneurship, Management and Organizational Development or Economics (2nd Lower) from a recognized institution
• Certificate in Computer applications from a recognized institution

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
