Corporate Security Officers protect people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance systems, controlling access, responding to emergencies, and resolving conflicts. 

Surveillance and Monitoring: Patrolling the premises, monitoring CCTV feeds and alarm systems, and observing for any suspicious activity or potential security breaches. Access Control: Verifying the identity of individuals, checking bags, managing visitor sign-ins, and issuing access badges to ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas. Emergency Response: Being the first responder to alarms, medical incidents, fires, or security breaches, coordinating with emergency services, and assisting with evacuations. Risk Assessment: Identifying security vulnerabilities and safety hazards within the workplace and assessing the effectiveness of existing security measures. Incident Reporting: Documenting all security-related activities, incidents, observations, and security breaches in detailed reports for management and legal authorities.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with colleagues, visitors, and emergency services. Critical Thinking: The ability to analyze situations, identify potential threats, and make on-the-spot decisions during emergencies. Situational Awareness: Maintaining constant vigilance and awareness of the surroundings to detect potential security risks. Physical Fitness: The physical capacity to patrol, conduct checks, and respond to emergencies effectively. Conflict Resolution & De-escalation: Trained to handle confrontations and resolve disturbances calmly and effectively. Customer Service: A professional demeanor and the ability to provide assistance, directions, and support to employees and visitors. Integrity: Adherence to high ethical standards, avoiding favoritism, and conducting duties with professionalism and honesty.
