Primary purpose of the job

To provide effective assistance to clients and to the external sales representative through outstanding service to all through the achievement and control of the sales function by achieving sales targets.

Main Responsibilities

  • Process all orders in the system promptly and accurately.
  • Oversee the progress of all sales inquiries to ensure they result in successful sales.
  • Address walk-in, telephonic, and other sales inquiries promptly.
  • Provide effective support to the external sales representative.
  • Ensure compliance with all company processes and policies, and make sure they are followed correctly.
  • Take responsibility for accurate order input.
  • Manage and control the progress of sales inquiries to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Be accountable for all aspects of customer relationship management within your portfolio and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Assist in achieving company budget goals.
  • Follow up on production and transportation to ensure orders are dispatched timely, according to customer needs.
  • Represent the Safintra brand through service, quality, and integrity.
  • Assist the finance department with collections.
  • Communicate and help resolve customer complaints.
  • Utilize SAP effectively.
  • Attend and participate in stock takes, conferences, and training sessions.
  • Perform any other duties and tasks assigned by management as needed.

  • Excellent knowledge of company products and processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & communication skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills
  • Knowledge of the industry.

Requirements

Qualifications required:

  • Minimum academic qualification: Grade 12 with Sales Certificate
  • Qualifications as an added advantage: Sales and Marketing qualification (certificate, diploma, or relevant tertiary training),

Experience required:

  • General work experience (years): at least 02 years' experience in a sales department, (with 02 years Steel /Roofing organisation exposure).
  • Industry: Manufacturing Steel company.

Computer literacy:

  • MS Office
  • Advance Excel
  • SAP Experience (at least 1 year exposure to SAP)

Language requirements

  • English
  • Local language would be an added advantage
