DEPARTMENT OF NURSING SERVICES

Requirement for Appointment
• Served for at least three (3) years in the grade of Senior Mortician;
• Demonstrate competence, administrative capabilities and initiative in organizing work and managing funeral services;
• Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized institution;
• Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution; and
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

Duties and Responsibilities.
• Efficient organization, control, co-ordination and management of embalming and funeral services;
• Responsible for procurement and distribution of chemicals and equipment used in funeral establishment;
• Administer day to day operations;
• Coordinate and supervise funeral workers including embalmers, drivers, receptionists or clerical assistants; and
• Responsible for administration and personnel matters affecting funeral home or mortuary personnel


Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: Professional Certificate
