About the role:

BURN is seeking motivated, enthusiastic, and eager-to-learn interns to join various departments across the organization. The internship program offers recent graduates and students an opportunity to gain practical work experience, develop professional skills, and contribute to meaningful projects that support BURN's mission of delivering clean cooking solutions across Africa. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals, receive on-the-job training, and gain exposure to a fast-paced, multicultural work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day departmental operations and administrative activities.
  • Assist in data collection, analysis, documentation, and report preparation as assigned.
  • Participate in ongoing projects and provide support in project coordination and execution.
  • Conduct research and compile information to support departmental initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems where applicable.
  • Attend team meetings, training sessions, and departmental briefings.
  • Collaborate with team members across functions to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Perform any other duties or special assignments delegated by the supervisor

Skills and Experience:

  • Recent graduate or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a high level of integrity.
  • Demonstrated initiative and eagerness to take on new challenges.
