GENERAL PURPOSE

Our client, a reputable hotel in Nairobi, is seeking to recruit a creative and results-driven Digital Marketer to oversee the hotel's digital marketing activities, strengthen online visibility, increase bookings, and enhance customer engagement across all digital platforms.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Marketing & Online Campaigns

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to promote hotel services, offers, events, and accommodation packages.
  • Manage and optimize online advertising campaigns across social media, Google Ads, and other digital platforms.
  • Create engaging marketing content including posters, videos, captions, and promotional materials.
  • Monitor digital campaign performance and prepare regular marketing reports.
  • Identify market trends and recommend innovative marketing ideas to increase hotel visibility and bookings.

Social Media & Brand Management

  • Manage the hotel's social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
  • Increase audience engagement, followers, and customer interaction through creative online campaigns.
  • Maintain consistent brand image and communication across all digital platforms.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, comments, and online feedback professionally and promptly.

Website & Online Presence

  • Update hotel website content and ensure information is accurate and appealing.
  • Support SEO and online visibility initiatives to improve search rankings and web traffic.
  • Monitor online reviews and support reputation management activities.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communication, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in digital marketing, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry.
  • Proficiency in social media management, digital advertising, SEO, content creation, and analytics tools.
  • Graphic design, photography, or videography skills will be an added advantage.
  • Strong creativity, communication, and branding skills.
  • Good understanding of hospitality marketing trends and customer engagement strategies.

CONTENT CREATION & PROMOTIONS

  • Coordinate photography and videography content for hotel rooms, events, restaurant services, and promotional campaigns.
  • Promote hotel offers, events, conferences, dining services, and special packages online.
  • Support partnerships with influencers, travel platforms, and online booking channels where necessary.
