Role Purpose:
The role provides strategic leadership in driving digital transformation and IT excellence across the Group by establishing a robust, secure and scalable IT function. It ensures optimization of enterprise systems, alignment of technology with business strategy and delivery of digital initiatives that enhance efficiency, decision-making, competitive advantage and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities:
The role bridges business strategy and technology execution, ensuring that all digital initiatives deliver measurable value, improve competitiveness and support sustainable growth.
- Develop and execute a multi-year digital transformation strategy and roadmap aligned to Group objectives, driving automation, innovation, and digitization across all business units.
- Establish, standardize and operationalize a fully functional Group IT department, including governance frameworks, policies, procedures and service delivery models.
- Oversees the performance, availability and scalability of IT infrastructure, ensuring high system uptime, reliability and operational resilience across all entities.
- Ensure robust cybersecurity, data protection, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks are implemented and consistently maintained.
- Drive optimization, integration and maximum utilization of ERP and other enterprise systems, eliminating inefficiencies and enhancing end-to-end business processes.
- Lead the planning, governance and execution of cross-functional IT and digital transformation projects, ensuring delivery within defined scope, timelines, budgets and performance targets.
- Promote data-driven decision-making by enabling analytics, reporting tools and establishing data governance and standardization across the Group.
- Manage IT vendors, partners and service providers to ensure service quality, performance, cost efficiency and value realization from all technology investments.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across all business units to align technology solutions with operational and strategic business needs.
- Drive organizational change and foster a digital-first culture by ensuring effective adoption of systems, managing resistance and supporting user training and engagement.
- Build, mentor and lead high-performing IT and digital teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's Degree (MBA or Technology-related) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8-12 years' experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in digital transformation and large--scale IT project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, cloud platforms, cybersecurity and data analytics.
