JOB DETAILS:
Director, Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
Job Grade: KUH 2 | REF No: DICT/VERT3/2025 Terms of Service: Five (5) year contract renewable once subject to satisfactory performance.
Job Purpose
To provide strategic leadership and direction for all ICT functions across KUTRRH. This role is pivotal in ensuring the development, implementation, and maintenance of secure, innovative, and cost-effective technology infrastructure and applications that support high-quality healthcare delivery and enhance patient experience.
Key Qualifications and Experience Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
Education:
Bachelor in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or related equivalent from a recognized institution.
A Master's degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or related equivalent from a recognized institution.
Professional Requirements:
Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, ITIL practitioner, PRINCE-2 or PMP, CGEIT or COBIT-2019, or TOGAF.
Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., ISACA, CSK, ISC2).
Experience:
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with 5 years in senior management level or a comparable position.
Training: Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.
Compliance: Compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 180
Level of Education: postgraduate degree
