JOB DETAILS:
Background
Makueni County Public Service Board wishes to recruit a competent and qualified person to fill the following vacant position as per Article 176 of the Constitution of Kenya 2000 and Section 59 of the County Governments’ Act 2012.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement policies, regulations, and procedures on enforcement of county laws .
- Guard county government institutions and installations .
- Execute all orders and warrants lawfully issued to county law breakers .
- Ensure preservation of order and sanity in markets, bus parks, recreational parks, and other commercial premises .
- Ensure orderly parking and traffic management in county town centres .
- Undertake investigations and prosecution of county law breakers .
- Apprehend offenders of county laws .
- Provide security for VIPs and County government functions .
- Enforce county spatial and development plans and other relevant Acts .
Additional Information
- Additionally, this role aligns with the County Government's function of managing the enforcement and compliance function .
