🚘 JOB ADVERT: DRIVER INSTRUCTOR

Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking a highly experienced Driver Instructor to support safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will conduct driver assessments, deliver training, maintain compliance, and ensure all company drivers and equipment operators meet required safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct driving assessments and follow-ups for company drivers/operators.

Prepare operator authorization documentation.

Organize and train drivers on theoretical and practical skills, including:
✓ Highway Code
✓ Road Safety Rules
✓ Defensive Driving
✓ Road Hazard Awareness

Develop driver training manuals.

Perform spontaneous vehicle inspections and prepare reports.

Update and maintain the operator data system.

Manage and update the driver database to ensure all licenses and stamps are valid.

Record and analyze annual road traffic accidents and identify training needs.

Investigate accidents/incidents involving company equipment and recommend corrective action.

Assist in organizing and coordinating departmental trainings.

Support coordination of attachment students and management trainees.

Coordinate NITA activities.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Requirements

Diploma in a relevant field.

Computer literate.

Licensed driver with valid stamps: A1, A2, A3, B, C, C1, CE, G (additional stamps are an advantage).

Minimum 10 years hands-on driving experience.

Strong understanding of highway code, traffic rules, and defensive driving.

Highly safety-conscious.

Excellent attention to detail in record keeping and training materials.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 120

Level of Education: bachelor degree
