About Food For Education

Food For Education (FFE) is a non-profit organization that provides nutritious meals to children in public primary schools and early childhood development centers. Our mission is to improve the health, education, and overall well-being of vulnerable children through access to food and education.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a company vehicle to transport food supplies, personnel, and other items as directed.
  • Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition.
  • Perform routine checks on the vehicle, including oil, water, tires, and brakes.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.
  • Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately to the supervisor.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules, making timely deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Valid Kenyan driving license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a non-profit or logistics setting.
  • Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
  • Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of driving experience.

This is a full-time position based in Nairobi.
