Summary:
Trainer at Shamberere Technical Training Institute. Responsible for delivering technical training, assessing practical skills, and preparing course materials. Requires a relevant degree/HND, TVET pedagogy certification, and TVETA registration.
The Polytechnic wishes to recruit qualified personnel on a contract basis for the following Areas of Specialization:
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertaking training in areas of specialization in accordance with the curriculum ;
- Preparing teaching/learning materials and learning plans.
- Setting and marking assessments;
- Carrying out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer ;
- Supervising trainees’ projects and practical work.
- Supervising trainees on attachment
- Any other duties that may be assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Higher National Diploma in the advertised discipline
- Bachelor Degree in control and instrumentation
- Pedagogy in Education and TVETA Registration is Mandatory.
- At least 1 year of experience.
- Registered with a Professional body or Association (where applicable)
- Excellent organizational and communicational Skills.
