JOB DETAILS:

Summary:

Trainer at Shamberere Technical Training Institute. Responsible for delivering technical training, assessing practical skills, and preparing course materials. Requires a relevant degree/HND, TVET pedagogy certification, and TVETA registration.

The Polytechnic wishes to recruit qualified personnel on a contract basis for the following Areas of Specialization:

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertaking training in areas of specialization in accordance with the curriculum ;
• Preparing teaching/learning materials and learning plans.
• Setting and marking assessments;
• Carrying out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer ;
• Supervising trainees’ projects and practical work.
• Supervising trainees on attachment
• Any other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Higher National Diploma in the advertised discipline
• Bachelor Degree in control and instrumentation
• Pedagogy in Education and TVETA Registration is Mandatory.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Registered with a Professional body or Association (where applicable)
• Excellent organizational and communicational Skills.
