Royal Mabati Factory Ltd is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality roofing solutions and steel construction materials. We are seeking to recruit an Electrical Technician Intern to support our technical team in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within our factory. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or student seeking practical, hands-on experience in an industrial setting.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field from a recognized institution.
- Recent graduate or continuing student seeking industrial attachment/internship.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.
- Familiarity with electrical tools, testing equipment, and safety procedures.
- Good problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism
Key Competencies
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and control equipment. Support troubleshooting of electrical faults in motors, control panels, production machines, and lighting systems.
- Participate in preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential hazards or faulty components.
- Assist in wiring, circuit installation, and modifications as per technical requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and service records in line with company procedures.
- Support the maintenance team during machine shutdowns and start-ups.
- Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Electrical Supervisor or Maintenance Manager.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, SupEducation: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field from a recognized institution. Recent graduate or continuing student seeking industrial attachment/internship. Basic knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial automation. Familiarity with electrical tools, testing equipment, and safety procedures. Good problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team. Strong communication and organizational skills. High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalismply Chain Management, or a related field (relevant experience may be substituted for a degree). Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management support roles. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and procurement software Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. High level of integrity and professionalism. Ability to work independently and within a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
