Responsibilities

  • Perform routine electrical maintenance on all plant machinery, including injection molding machines, blow molding machines, extrusion lines, chillers, compressors, and related auxiliary equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues related to production equipment and ensure timely repairs to reduce machine downtime.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Install, test, and commission new machines and electrical systems in accordance with safety standards.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance as scheduled.
  • Ensure all electrical works are performed in compliance with local electrical codes, company standards, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs, maintenance activities, and spare part usage.
  • Work closely with the mechanical maintenance team and production staff to support operational goals.
  • Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and equipment optimization.
  • Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience as an Industrial Electrician in a plastic manufacturing environment (e.g., Friendship Containers, Sanpac, or similar companies).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems in injection molding, blow molding, and extrusion machines.
  • Familiarity with PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.), motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and automation systems is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of industrial safety practices and electrical code compliance.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and on-call provide effective support.
