Responsibilities or duties

  • Conduct interviews using digital questionnaires and accurately record responses.
  • Engage respondents professionally, explain the survey purpose, and obtain consent.
  • Follow survey guidelines strictly and ask questions as designed to avoid bias.
  • Ensure data quality by reviewing responses and clarifying any inconsistencies.
  • Use and safeguard data collection devices such as tablets or smartphones.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle all information with integrity.
  • Submit data regularly and report progress or challenges to supervisors.
  • Plan field activities efficiently, including travel to assigned locations.
  • Identify and report field issues such as non-response or language barriers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or degree in animal husbandry.
  • Experience in data collection or field surveys.
  • Knowledge of livestock practices (e.g., feeding, breeding. disease recognition).
  • Ability to use digital data collection tools (smartphones/tablets).
  • Good communication skills, especially with rural communities.
  • Understanding of local languages and cultural practices
